Just Another Princess

I digress from the timeline of Disney animated films to talk about the newest gem added to the wonderful collection…

I need to take a moment to once again commend Disney for their FABULOUS job with The Princess and the Frog. I saw it for the second time tonight, and I loved it just as much if not more! It is not only aesthetically pleasing in its animation, but the message communicated and the relationships built are so incredibly beautiful!

I also need to say that Ray might actually be my new favorite Disney character. He is so charming and adorable, especially when he talks about “his Evangeline.”

Also, I noticed that the progression of Prince Naveen’s character was very believable, in contrast to other Disney films. His feelings for Tiana advanced, and it was easy to understand why, no matter how much of a “stick in the mud” she was.

Lastly, I thought the characters of Charlotte and Lewis were absolutely charming as well. They were perfect additions to the story!

I just have too many good things to say about this film. I am so excited to go to Disneyland and to see Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, and Ray in the parade (hopefully)!!
